Description
I have an 8 year old, 8 foot, male, Black Headed Python available to re-home. This is an extremely rare snake and a very rewarding one to keep as they are large, but quite docile and easy to handle!
Nib (named after the tip of a pen because his head looks like it got dipped in an inkwell) is extremely docile, is fine being handled (in fact, he and I attended a Halloween party, where I dressed as Medusa (see pics). Nib was one of my props and he was great! He tolerated me carrying him around for several hours, while people huddled around me, touching him and handling him.)
Nib is approximately 8 years old (Black Headed Pythons live 20-30 years in captivity), he's 8 ft long, but is about as large as he's going to get and he is a proven breeder. Please make sure you understand this species and how to properly care for them. Nib comes WITH his enclosure and tank stand. His enclosure is 72" Long x 18" Deep (front to back) x 21" Tall. FYI: I refurbished his tank, which was a 125 gallon aquarium and built his tank stand to match his colors (which are Louis Vuitton colors, coincidentally!) Tank includes everything seen in pics: Cocoa fiber substrate, XL twisted log, XL half log hide, XL corner water bowl, foliage, tank background, undertank heater, thermostat, 24" LED light canopy/hood with remote control, XL Vivarium Electronics radiant heat panel and screen lid with locks.
A re-homing fee applies. Note that because of their rarity, combined with their large size and docile nature, Black Headed Python hatchlings command $1,800 and a mature adult around $3,200, so serious inquiries only please. Thank you.
