Easton Town Election Draws 1,281 Voters

EASTON, MA — Easton town officials said that 7.45 percent of the town's 17,198 registered voters turned out for the annual town election Saturday at Oliver Ames High School. With few contested positions, and amid the coronavirus health crisis, the town held all six precincts at the high school with 1,281 ballots cast. Craig Barger secured a spot on the Select Board running unopposed, while Raymen Morrell won a spot on the Board of Assessors. Lynn LeBlanc defeated Michael Goodman for a spot on the Board of Health 1,022 to 218. Michelle Durrance and Caroline O'Neill won spots on the school committee. Patrick Hellen, Jennifer Stacy and Kristina Jean DeNapoli won three-year spots on the finance committee, while Jeremy Thomas-Tammelleo won a two-year spot.
