Mechanical Advice or Help Needed

I have a 2006 trailblazer that hesitates to start, usually when it's colder temps but it happened today and it was near 50. It happens about half the time I try to start it, and takes 3-8 seconds of cranking to finally fire. Could it be my fuel pump? Any help would be appreciated, and I would hire someone for a fair price if they can help me fix it. I would just like to get it resolved before it decides not to start at all and I get stranded. Thank you.
