Looking for a new home

This is Domonique. He is a male pit bull/cattle dog and we think he is about 4/5 years old. He has not been neutered. I believe he has been outdoors and on a chain his entire life. He is very sweet and wants to be loved. He does act kind of aggressive to new people by barking at them when they're at a distance from him. The first time I met him he was acting this way but I walked up to him slowly with my hand out and once I reached him he let me pet him and feed and water him. I believe he is fearful of new people so acts like he does to keep them away from him. I have never had him actually be mean to me or my boyfriend. He would be so happy to have a family, to be part of a family. To be able to run and play would just be the best thing for him. I don't want to see him continue to be stuck on a chain so if you're interested in a good looking guard dog and you maybe have a fenced in yard or area and would be willing to have him adapt to your family that would be the perfect placement for him.
