Bass seeks R&B gig

I'm probably shooting for the moon here but gotta try. So much of what I hear around is Classic Rock, Modern Rock, Country,,. and Classic Rock. I want to do R&B. Modern to Traditional. Yes, I'll do Hip-Hop. (Not sure you'd be needing real bass for that, but I dig it.) Here's my thing...even though I'm a bit young for it as it was not my era, I really love the throw back stuff. Motown thru the mid 80's, My favorite...what bass player wouldn't love it? After years of doing whatever, now I wanna play what I like and I'm hoping to get an opportunity. And ideally you will be working a lot. And while I don't care where you play, I won't play for less than reasonable money...so...not asking for much (ha), but givin' it a shot. Doesn't mean I'm not into variety for crowd pleasing, classis or current (I never question that), but would just like to find some folks more centered on the great Soul and Funk from years gone by.
