Hi!! I am trying to set up a chess game as a surprise for my boyfriend's birthday! (May 2nd) We just moved to the area like two months ago and don't have a lot of friends yet. He LOVES chess and would win championships as a child. I am trying to find a guy who is really good at chess and would be up for a match. I really want to surprise him because I don't know how to play chess and he doesn't know anyone in the area who does. He would say he is a little rusty but I think it would make for a fun game, it's been a minute since he played. We would probably do this April 30th, May 1st or May 2nd depending on your availability, we could meet at Snakes & Lattes in Tempe! (I'll bring cake as an incentive!) :)
