Description
WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Woodbridge Township is one of the first towns in New Jersey to reopen playgrounds and basketball courts, although Mayor John McCormac cautions that the town is still requesting there be no organized basketball games — just shooting baskets.
All basketball courts and playgrounds in Woodbridge Township parks are now fully opened. Woodbridge does not have control over county parks (Merrill in Iselin, Williams in Sewaren, Warren in Woodbridge and Fords Park in Fords), so any playgrounds in those parks will remain closed.
Woodbridge Parks Dept. staff is working to sanitize the playground equipment.
Parents are also asked to wipe down playground equipment, maintain six-feet social distancing and wear masks while using the playgrounds.
