Toys For Tots Program Starts Soon In Milford

MILFORD, CT — The Milford Professional Firefighters Association Toys for Tots program will kick off on Friday, Nov. 29 and run through Thursday, Dec. 19. "We would be pleased to accept any new, unwrapped toy, book, sporting good or game," fire official said. Toy donations can be dropped off at any Milford Fire Station, US Remodeling, Stylin Hair Salon, Boscovs, Bar 333, Steven's Ford, Dan Perkins Subaru, Pop's Restaurant, Give The Dog a Bath, Matties Auto and many more. Participating locations will have the fire department's Santa on the Fire Truck logo and signs. Monetary donations can be sent to: Milford Firefighters Local 944 Toys for Tots East Side Fire Station 980 New Haven Ave Milford, CT 06460 Anyone interested in holding a fundraising or toy collection event, email [email protected]. "Milford firefighters have been working to provide Christmas cheer to our residents since the 1940's," officials said in a news release. "Each year our program supports nearly 300 needy Milford families with children aged newborn to 11 years old. All donations will be distributed to Milford families."
