We are saddened to do this, but we need to rehome our dusky conure. He is so sweet and loves cuddles. Says lots of words including his name “Peanut”, step up, good night, *kisses*, whatcha doing, thank you, and several different mimicking whistle sounds. Peanut is about 8 years old and has been with us 7 of those years. We are just too busy with raising a toddler to give him the attention he deserves. He’s a very affectionate bird and loves to be with people. He currently has a roommate named “joe” which is the parakeet in the photo. We never tamed Joe however he’s about 3 years old. Both are fully flighted. They love each other so they cannot be separated. Re-homing fee will include cage and all toys and supplies with him. Serious inquiries only and we will ask for photos of the space that you’d be keeping him as well as your experience with birds, and the time availabl e you have to care for him. His breed can live 15-20 years. So he needs a long term home. Asking $400 for his rehoming fee.
