MILFORD, CT — The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Milford is now at 498 and the number of deaths is 56, according to the latest data from the state Department of Public Health.
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Connecticut is approaching 31,000 positive cases and the number of deaths has risen to 2,718. The good news is that the number of hospitalizations declined by 55 and is at 1,445.
There were an additional 85 deaths reported over the past 24 hours and 374 new cases.
Milford officials announced Monday that several city-owned outdoor recreation facilities reopened for Milford residents only as long as proper safety and social distancing measures are respected.
The facilities reopening include the community gardens at Eisenhower Park, skatepark, tennis courts, pickleball courts, The Orchards Golf Course, Walnut, Gulf, Anchor, and Hawley Avenue beaches.
