Billy D & the Rock-its is a 1950s rock'n'roll show band based in Newton, NH (right over the state line from Merrimac, MA). We are currently an 8-piece ensemble consisting of four front-line singers, guitar, bass, drums, and tenor sax, and we have a full PA and private rehearsal space. We have an opening for a female vocalist who can both sing lead and harmony within a vocal ensemble. If you can double on keyboards or other instruments, that would be an added bonus! Being that we are a show band, you must be comfortable and flexible as a stage performer, and able to do some simple choreography. A professional attitude, a desire for excellence, and a strong work ethic is required. We have several lucrative bookings already scheduled for the spring and summer, with more anticipated.
