Description

Hello! 😊 I have lots of baby axolotls that are ready for new homes. Most of them at between 4-6 inches and eating chopped red wigglers and chopped nightcrawlers. I have also introduced pellets a few times so getting them to eat shouldn’t be an issue! None of my babies have missing limbs and they all have beautiful fluffy gills. Currently I have some copper varieties, Mels, Mel axanthics, axanthics, possibly some macs, and some gorgeous wilds. Some are also GFP. I know hets and lineage for most of them, but I do have a pet only clutch that should never be bred. I am doing deals on groups of 3 or more, just keep in mind they are not gendered yet and they will need to be separated if you get males and females. - they need a fully cycled 20 gallon long aquarium, or you must be willing to tub in a shoebox size plastic tub with 100% daily water changes until you get a tank fully cycled. 40 breeder would be a good size for 2 or 3. 20 gals for 1 +10 gals for each additional lotl. - they are cold water animals so make sure you can keep the temp between 55-65 F - no rocks or gravel ever it’s an impaction risk. Fine sand is okay after 5 inches. Bare bottom is also another good option. - no chemicals containing aloe, iodine, or anything for “slime coat”. Seachem prime is the go to dechlorinater for axolotls. - you can not keep any other fish, snails, plecos, etc with axolotls. They are species only with the exception of quarantined ghost shrimp Axolotls are amazing pets and have the cutest faces but they are a 15 year commitment. I’ve worked hard raising them and want to do my best to ensure new owners are set up for success. Pricing will vary depending on morph and if they are pet only or not. Please feel free to text me or email me. I also have a Facebook page called “Brianna’s axolotls” with a rainbow axolotl logo. If you are interested and don’t know a lot about axolotls I can send you some info to get you started. I can also recommend some very helpful axolotl Facebook groups, google doesn’t always have the best info.
