MILFORD, CT — The Milford Public School System is in the midst of creating front entrances to every school that are made of bulletproof glass, which will add another layer of security in the schools, the Milford Mirror reports.
All the work will be completed by the summer of 2022 and it costs $600,000 per school, officials told the Mirror.
Five schools remain as part of the project including: Joseph A. Foran High School, East Shore Middle School, and Orange Avenue, John F. Kennedy, and Mathewson elementary schools.
