Information via Milford Public Schools: The Milford Foodservice Department has been distributing free meals for ALL student families over the past few weeks - yet there seems to be some misunderstanding across our school community regarding who is eligible, what it's for, and how to take advantage of this program. Please watch the 1-minute PSA that explains the program and the benefits associated with it. It's a 'win-win!' - Free Breakfasts and Lunches are for ALL students, (18 years and younger)- No financial paperwork or pre-qualification is needed (everyone is eligible)- There is plenty of food for everyone, so you don't have to worry about taking it from others who 'might need it more.' Benefits:And even better news - taking advantage of the free meal program has many benefits for our school foodservice program and our city. Here's how:- The program enables us to receive federal and state funding (helping our city)- The program helps save jobs for our foodservice workers- The program helps you save money on your grocery bill- The program helps support local farms and businesses that depend on our businessSo -- clearly there's nothing to lose!
