I am currently fostering an American Rottie. Now He is looking for his forever home. His name is max, we aren't sure exactly how old he is but if I had to guess I'd say between 3 and 5. He hasn't had the best life, but we are working on getting him to where he needs to be. He does well with my dogs but I introduced them through the fence first. There was some aggressive behavior but after letting him know I was in charge and that behavior isn't correct he now plays with them happily. He's a big old baby who loves pets and treats. He needs someone who will be patient with him and understand he's still learning. He's okay with strangers as long as they talk to him as they are coming up. His fear response is to bark.and snap but im.not sure if he would complete the bite but we are working on positive reinforcement and it seems to be working. He needs a home where possible he is the only male dog (he does great with my female and my submissive male). He is house trained and a great watch dog. He is such a good boy who needs a forever home with someone who will love him right back. A fenced in yard would probably be good too. He's good with car rides and walks good on a leash.
