Albus looks fierce, but is the biggest baby! He is one of the sweetest dogs that I've ever met. He is a neutered male aprx. 2 yrs old and weighs 71lbs. He loves to hang out with his human, whether it be outside doing things or snuggled up to you on the couch. He loves to eat chips while watching TV with you. He loves to lie in the sun in his fenced yard, but also loves his air conditioning & napping in the house. He goes out through a 10x15 pet door, (which he shouldn't fit through!?), so is housebroken. I think he would be fine if he were let outside a few times a day. He does his business out in the bushes or flower beds, not in the middle of the yard, good boy! He is absolutely unaware of his size, he hasn't been around children, and although I think he would love them, he might also knock them over if they were small.He would be best with older kids. He does well on a leash & sits on command. He is super strong & fast. He loves to play with our female lab, but lets himself be bullied by her. He is definitely NOT an alpha, so shouldn't be around an aggressive dog. He rarely barks, even when the other dog does. He likes a nice warm shower. He is scared of the dark outside, but once the security lights are tripped he is fine. He does dig a little, we are working on that & he has slacked off a lot. He wants to meet our cats so badly, but dosen't understand what they are. This is the reason that I need to find him a wonderful new home. My cats are scared of his size, and have been living outside (almost ferally) since we got Albus in December. He eats Purina One dry food. He has had all his shots and is on Heartgard and monthly flea/tick control. The person adopting him would need to be financially able to continue his health upkeep. He would also need a fenced yard, be able to be inside the house and have plenty of attention & love. There will be an adoption fee for his safety. I will not give him to just anyone, he is a very special dog & I'm truly sorry that I can't keep him. Please TEXT only for more info.
