The City of Monroe and Monroe Festival Subcommittee are excited to present the second annual Monroe Festival & BBQ Competition! The City of Monroe and Monroe Festival Subcommittee are excited to present the second annual Monroe Festival & BBQ Competition on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.! This is the premier wine event for visitors seeking to see, taste, and experience the bounty of the Southern Willamette Valley. Visitors from Albany, Corvallis, Eugene, Harrisburg, Junction City, Springfield, Veneta and all surrounding areas come together for a day of sipping wines and brews, perusing and purchasing vintage goods with our local artisans and crafters, sampling delicious cuisine from local food trucks, checking out the classic car show, listening to live music, competing in the BBQ Competition, riding a trolley on a historic tour, and enjoying family fun activities – all while celebrating Monroe’s heritage, small town environment, and neighborly culture. General admission to the Monroe Festival is free. Wristbands will be provided for wine and beer tastings in the big event tent with proper photo ID. Note, food is sold separately, and you must be 21 or older to participate in wine and beer tastings. What to Bring: Your love of local wine, brews, food, live music, classic cars, and family fun!
