The science of yeasted doughs- understanding the reasoning helps a baker feel more confident and aids in future troubleshooting
Baker’s math- basic formulas to help anyone build their own recipes that work
Tools of bread making- which basic tools are the best investment for long term use
Ingredients- we’ll discuss the differences in flour, yeast varieties, and lean and enriched dough requirements
This is a hands on class. You’ll be mixing, kneading, and shaping loaves. Getting your hands in the dough is the best way to learn, but bring an apron…it can get a little messy!
