This workshop is NOT for pregnant folx. If you may be menstruating at the time of the event or have an IUD, please email me to discuss if this is the workshop for you. * NOTE: the address and map shown are for my office and are NOT the location of the event. You will receive the address to Dancing Tree Sanctuary in Corbett, OR., upon the purchase of your ticket. Join me in a sweet community setting for a moment of pause and deep personal connection. Pelvic steaming has been a modality used all over the world for many moons as a way to support menstrual, pelvic, and sexual health. It is a simple technique of using water, herbs and heat to cleanse the pelvic bowl while in deep meditation. This Spring we'll be steaming with the powerful medicine of Yarrow. Let us sit in collective ritual, remembering how we can hold ourselves and the needs of our core being, or as I like to call it our Creative Cauldron, as paramount while also nourishing and enriching the lives of those whom we sit in community with. This event is hosted by Janessa Bautista of the Kapwa Sanctuary: a bipoc tiny house retreat and owner of Milk & Honey Collection. It will be held at the Dancing Tree Sanctuary movement space. Janessa will be pouring tea, by donation, before and during the event. I'll be discussing when to steam, why steaming is effective, the properties of Yarrow and how it can be helpful for the physical and energetic body, and I'll be leading you in a steam meditation. Each person will receive an herbal blend that is a combination of Yarrow and several other herbs that have been chosen for your specific individual needs based on the questions you answer at purchase. We will steam together as a group and have time to journal and share about our experience afterwards. Feel free to arrive as early as 11:30am to walk the land, sip tea, or have a tarot reading by Catherine B. The workshop will begin at 12:30pm. You will want to bring the following items: a small to medium sized ceramic or metal bowl, a plate/lid to cover the bowl, a large warm blanket or two that can fully encompass your body while seated, hand towel(s), pillows, a steam stool if you have one you currently use (I will have several on hand to use and purchase), yoga blocks, water bottle, extra cash for tea and tarot donations, notepad and pen, journal and any personal ritual items that you may want during your steam. Please wear warm socks, layers for up top, a large loose skirt or bottoms that are easy to remove, and a mask. If you plan on walking the land, sturdy shoes are recommended. Any extra funds paid towards your ticket will go to support the funding of Kapwa Sanctuary: a bipoc tiny house retreat. You can also donate directly on Patreon . If you'd like to learn the some of the basics of Pelvic Steaming prior to the event, check out my YouTube Video . *Important things to note: The movement space is up a flight of stairs. It is a large beautiful room that can easily accommodate 13 attendees with space to get comfy. There are composting toilets on the property. You are also welcome to pee on the land :) *If funds are an issue, please contact me directly to discuss options for attendance. I always want to make events accessible to every body!
