Join WWU Blue Group and the WWU Blue Resource Center for a month-long celebration and recognition of undocu- joy, success and community! Undocumonth is a month-long series of events through Western Washington University's Blue Resource Center and Blue Group. Our theme this year is Celebrating Joy in Community. This event is free, tickets are only for RSVP purposes. Event schedule: 4/18: Keynote Speaker: Victoria Matey Undocumonth kicks off with a presentation by our very own Blue Group alumni and Shot of Truth podcast host, Victoria Matey who will talk about the joys and struggles of finding an undocumented community at Western Washington University and how her experiences have led her to where she is now. Location: Viking Union 7th FloorOnline Option Available4/15: Day of Action: Conversations for Change Join Dr. Lourdes Gutierrez Najera and professor Pedro Cameselle-Pesce to discuss how faculty and staff at Western Washington University can create safe environments for undocumented students in their classrooms, offices and through the services they provide. Location: TBA4/23: Community Resource FairTo wrap up our Undocumonth festivities, community members, students and alumni are invited to connect with resources available to the Bellingham-Whatcom undocumented community. The Blue Resource Center will be open for questions. Share your stories of undocujoy, mingle with current members and alumni and be part of the sequel to the first Blue Group book.
