Bach To Rock (“B2R”), America’s Music School for students of all ages, is currently seeking a Brand Ambassador to work as a part-time, seasonal employee engaging prospective customers at community events. At Bach to Rock, we make learning music FUN! Our unique B2R method uses the music that students already know and love to teach theory, technique, and repertoire. We offer a variety of group classes and private lessons for students of all ages at three Indianapolis-area locations: Carmel, Fishers, and Zionsville. Note: Most Brand Ambassador shifts will occur on evenings and weekends in various locations on the North side of Indianapolis. Apply via indeed.com, or email your resume and experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Engage prospective customers at events; dialogue with customers about the amazing programs we offer and which would be a good fit for their family • Collect contact information from potential customers • Maintain detailed knowledge of our programs, classes, and upcoming opportunities (training provided) • Set up and tear down event equipment (tent, table, musical instruments, etc.) • Assist event attendees in trying musical instruments (training provided) Requirements: • An outgoing, friendly, warm personality, and a willingness to strike up conversations with new people • Prompt and reliable • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of personalities • Situational awareness • Adaptable in a changing work environment • Strong communication skills, including listening skills • Basic knowledge of music and music education (preferred but not required) • Ability to interact effectively with children and adults • Ability to pass a background check • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Physical Demands: The physical demands listed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of his/her job.
