Celebrating the life of an amazing woman, Anne Manning. Bringing together the people she loved at a place she loved. On Saturday, May 21st, we are truly excited to celebrate the life of Anne Manning at Lookout Farm in Natick, MA. Her passing was unexpected and impossible to comprehend, but there is so much worth celebrating. Lookout Farm was an accommodating oasis to Anne, offering a taste of normalcy during the pandemic due to its outdoor seating and social distancing. Actually, the picture on this event was taken at Lookout. As such, this felt like the proper place to bring together her family, friends, and colleagues. A chance to share stories, enjoy the company of some wonderful people, and celebrate a woman that meant so much to so many. She would want this gathering to be safe, as we're still in the midst of a pandemic, and accommodating; that's why we've waited until Spring to have this event. Anne loved to celebrate people and people's passions. As such, we ask that everyone wear an article of clothing that is related to a passion of yours! This could be a sports jersey, campaign t-shirt, university sweatshirt, concert t-shirt, or an article of clothing from your favorite vacation destination. If it makes you happy, wonderful. But, let's just try to stay away from anything controversial. (Yankees hats or anything that might be especially divisive...) The Celebration of Life will be located at Lookout Farm's outdoor dining space. When entering the property, drive past the first few buildings (which will be on your left) and follow the road until you see the picnic tables. The gathering will be to the right of the barn under the smaller of two tents. There will be signage. NOTE: This is a rain or shine event AND is primarily outdoors. If it is raining please wear clothing appropriate for the weather which may include a jacket or waterproof shoes/boots.
