Join us for a community screening at Light House (just down the street from Common House) of film The Machinery of Dreams by Charlottesville based producer Eric Hurt. After her mother is hospitalized due to a car crash, Lily, a girl of eight years old, goes to stay with her aunt and grandmother. After Lily's grandmother Beth, who suffers from dementia, tells Lily a fairytale to pass the time, it becomes clear that the fairytale is not a tale at all. Lily ventures into the fairytale in search of a talisman to save her mother.
