The California Israel Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is happy to host a fire-chat and networking event and introduce you to JJDC. Lesley Stolz is the Head of JLABS California including JLABS @ SSF, JLABS @ QB3 and our flagship JLABS San Diego. In this role, Lesley is responsible for external engagement, innovation sourcing, company onboarding, portfolio management, operational excellence, educational programming and P&L. In this role, she catalyzes and support the translation of science and technology into valuable solutions for patients and consumers across the pharmaceutical, medical device and consumer healthcare sectors. Prior to JLABS, Lesley was Head of Transactions at Johnson & Johnson Innovation in Menlo Park. She has been working in corporate and business development roles for the last 17 years for companies that are both technology platform and therapeutics focused. Her most recent executive positions have been with BioTime, a publicly traded stem cell technology and therapeutic company, and Sutro Biopharma, a platform technology company working in cell-free protein synthesis. Prior to Sutro, Lesley served in BD positions for a number of biotech companies in the U.S. and Europe. Lesley received her Ph.D. in chemistry, and conducted postdoctoral research at Harvard Medical School’s Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Pharmacology. Stacy Feld is Regional Head, Johnson & Johnson Innovation, West North America, Australia & New Zealand, located at the Innovation Center in South San Francisco, California. In this role, she leads the Innovation Center team to build, advance, and manage a portfolio of co-investments and collaborations spanning the pharmaceutical, consumer health and medical device sectors. Stacy is also responsible for expanding and nurturing the external networks within the innovation community, including academia, venture capital, entrepreneurs and other governmental and private organizations. Prior to her position as Head of Johnson & Johnson Innovation, West North America, Australia & New Zealand, Stacy was Vice President of Consumer Venture Investments and External Innovation and a team member of Johnson & Johnson Innovation – JJDC, Inc. (JJDC). During her three-year tenure at JJDC, Stacy was globally responsible for the growth and management of the Consumer Health equity portfolio and led consumer health and health technology venture investing on the investment team. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Stacy was a partner at Physic Ventures, a venture capital firm investing in health and sustainability, where she led investments in personalized health solutions that empower consumers to improve their health and wellbeing. Stacy has been recognized by Pharm Exec as a 2016 Emerging Leader and in 2018 was named in the Top 10 Global Corporate Venturing Rising Stars. Stacy earned her B.A. in Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania and received her J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School. Tamir Meiri is a Principal, Venture Investments at JJDC. With over a decade of experience in venture capital investment, Tamir is responsible for identifying and leading medical device, consumer and health technology investments in line with Johnson & Johnson sector strategies. This includes deal sourcing, due diligence, negotiation, structuring, decision making, execution, and post-investment portfolio management. Covering West North America, Australia & New Zealand, Tamir is an engaged, hands-on investor who likes to be detail-oriented and involved in his companies. He aims to help young entrepreneurs maximize their potential by providing meaningful advice and empowerment through close relationships and personal commitment to the people and companies in JJDC's portfolio. Prior to joining JJDC, Tamir worked at GKH Law Offices – one of the largest law firms in Israel, supporting the firm's managing partners for over six years in many aspects of the various deal processes, including marketing and business development.Tamir has a B.Sc in Chemistry from Tel-Aviv University and an extensive background in biomedical engineering and entrepreneurship, as well as an MBA with a major in Finance, from the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya
