Faculty can come in, welcome Dean Bado, and learn about potential opportunities for teaching a research collaboration in Costa Rica
As some of you know, the University of Kansas and the University of Costa Rica (UCR) enjoy the longest exchange partnership of any university in the US. For more that 60 years, we have been sending students and faculty in both directions between the two universities. At this time, KU Accounting students do a short-term study abroad in Costa Rica and UCR students come here in July for a two-week program. Dean Fields visited the University of Costa Rica in 2018. After pandemic-related delays, the dean of the Business School, Gustavo Bado, will be visiting KU on April 18th and 19th to explore ways to expand on this partnership. He is accompanied by his wife, Marta Molina who teaches human resource management at UCR. He will be making a presentation in the Colloquium on Tuesday, April 19 at 4pm. Please drop by, have a snack, help us welcome Dean Bado, and learn about potential opportunities for teaching and research collaboration in Costa Rica.
