Germany is a fascinating area for wine production, with a storied and rich history. Riesling grows extremely well along the steep hillsides along winding rivers like the Mosel and the Rhine and is the signature grape of the nation. However, Riesling can also be wildly different in its expression due to the many different styles that can be produced based on region and dryness, which is important to know when navigating complicated-looking German labels. In addition, despite most people's primary perception of Germany as being a white wine only region, there are some lovely, bright red wine examples coming from Germany, such as Spätburgunder (the name for Pinot Noir in Germany). Whether you are already a fan of German wines, or would really like to know and explore more about this historical region, sign up for this interactive class filled with wines specially selected by Sommelier Joshua Voytek.  There will be one class time available starting out. Class space is limited. Tickets are $30 per person, which includes a 60 minute wine class and samples. must purchase a ticket for each wine class you would like to attend. *You MUST be 21-years-old or older, and have a valid ID to attend this class. If you purchase a ticket, and are not 21 or older, or have a valid ID you will not be able to participate is the class, and you will NOT receive a refund. Save paper!
