Midwest Music Expo, Planting the Seed MmX™ is a hub for the exchange of ideas, connections, and opportunities. On Saturday, May 7th, 2022, 8AM-4PM, we are hosting a event to elevate the community on the campus of Millikin University - bringing together people who do it, get it, and aren’t afraid to share it! Out of our 43 speakers and panelists, we are excited to have Wendy Day, founder of Rap Coalition, as our Keynote speaker who is credited with millions made in the rap industry, getting Eminem signed, and more! Some of our featured speakers and panelists will also include Eddie Sanders Chicago Attorney, Audrey Martinovich Co-Owner of Audio for the Arts, Orville Kline Ableton Certified Trainer, Martin Atkins of Pigface NiN and Johnny Rotten, and many more! MmX™ will feature 22 artists across 3 stages, live performances at Oakwood Festival stage, live drawing, screen-printing workshop: print your own poster, an Ableton Workshop, songwriting workshop, song listening panel, vinyl, clothing, networking, robots!, and much MUCH more!
