An intimate conversation with James Baldwin's personal friend, David Moses Come join SCTE at the AC Bilbrew Library where actor David Moses will share personal experiences about his friendship with one of the most prominent thinkers of our time- James Baldwin (1924-1987). Moses laments, “I think of him [James Baldwin] every day.” This event will be held at the AC Bilbrew Library, the same location where James Baldwin was an honoree for the sixth annual African American Living Legends Series. He was honored alongside the renowned gospel singer and civil rights activist Sallie Martin (1895-1988). Please join us as we have a conversation where we will explore some of Baldwin’s perspectives, but ultimately have the experience of uncovering and discovering ourselves. At this free event, all are welcomed and encouraged to partake in sharing in this dialogue with David Moses. Though nothing can match the personal experience of meeting and talking with Mr. Moses, this event will also be simulcast on Zoom. The Zoom link will be provided 48 hours before the event.
