Skate Mission Plaza is coming to Downtown SLO this May! Get ready for groovy tunes and good times with SLO's first pop-up roller rink! Get ready to roll — Downtown SLO, in partnership with the City of SLO, is bringing a groovy new pop-up installation to Mission Plaza! Lace up your skates and enjoy an outdoor roller-rink right in front of the historic Mission San Luis Obispo! Jam out with live DJ sessions and dance under the disco ball; all the nostalgic vibes right in the heart of downtown San Luis Obispo. All the fun begins Friday, May 6, 2022! The rink will operate 7 days a week; 1-hour skate sessions, with multiple sessions each day. Important things to note: Every skater must sign a waiver stating they won't hold the rink and the rink's employees responsible in case of accidents. Present the signed waiver on your phone at check-in.Socks are required!No hockey sticks or pucks.Children 10 and under must be accompanied by someone 16 years or older.By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the rules of the rink. There will be a number of theme nights, so bring out all the stops and dress-up while you skate the night away! There will be a few lessons for our beginner skaters hosted by Doomsday Skate.
