DBA April Speaker: Julie Floyd, Head Counselor Dacula High School Julie Floyd has been a Dacula Falcon since 1994 when she came to Dacula HS as a World History teacher. She and her husband Ed have raised their 3 children here in Dacula – Sam (20) is a sophomore at Georgia Southern, and William and Lily (17) are seniors at Dacula HS. Julie currently serves as Head Counselor at Dacula HS and has been in that role for many years. She also serves as Academic Coordinator for Football and Baseball at the high school and can be heard as the voice of the Falcons on Thursday afternoons during the fall for JV and 9th grade football. Besides her 3 children, Julie sees her greatest accomplishment as being the relationships, connections, and impact that she has gained being a part of the Dacula community for so many years.
