Join Safe Kids Northeast Florida to learn how to be a safe bike rider or pedestrian to reduce the risk of potential injuries. There are so many great reasons to ride your bike: It offers fun, freedom and exercise, and it's good for the environment. We want kids and families to ride their bikes as much as possible. Properly-fitted helmets can reduce the risk of head injuries by at least 45 percent – yet less than half of children 14 and under usually wear a bike helmet. Join Safe Kids Northeast Florida to learn how to be a safe bike rider or pedestrian to reduce the risk of potential injuries. Attendees ages 1-19 (Child must be present) will have the opportunity to receive a FREE BIKE HELMET while supplies and sizes last. COVID-19 Safety Precautions: Your health is our top priority. Below are the enhanced safety measures we have put in place to protect the health and safety of our participants. 1. Participants will be asked to not attend if they are feeling unwell. 2. All participants will be asked to sanitize their hands upon entering room and to wear a mask. 3. Pre-registration is not required for the sessions. 4. All surfaces and materials used for the class will be sanitized before and after the class. Membership is not required to attend this event.
