I've made the decision to rehome my boxer Houston. He was born on 7/7/21 and I've had him since he was 9 weeks. I'm in a situation where I cannot provide him with the high level of activity and attention he needs. I will be moving out of my apartment soon and its also been hard to find a roommate with him. I will only allow Houston to go to a good home where he can get the attention he needs and a fenced-in backyard, which I wish I had for him. He can get destructive if no one is home for a long period of time and will need to be crated. He's up to date on shots and I can provide the record. If you have no prior experience with boxers, they are a cancer-prone breed so I only feed him Royal Canin or Hill's Science. He's been socialized with shih-tzu's and a cat so he gets along great with other animals but does play rough. He has not been fixed. There will be a rehoming fee to ensure you can afford to take good care of him. He goes through a 30-pound bag of food in a month, only gets rubber toys because he'll eat stuffing and he goes through bones very quickly. He is a leash puller and has to wear a sturdy harness.
