Description
The City of Bowie is seeking a qualified individual to provide high level administrative support to the Director of Finance and other department staff as needed. Responsibilities include accurate record keeping; set-up and creating financial and statistical reports; composing correspondence and performing various clerical office duties as needed. Successful applicant must be able to exercise independent judgement and be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent
Three years of administrative support experience
Strong MS Office Suite and Adobe experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate Degree in Office Management or a similar field
Knowledge of accounting and/or fiscal operations and office procedures
Business or administrative support coursework or certification
Salary: $25.69 per hour
