SAN RAMON, CA — The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Search and Rescue team is in the middle of recruiting for its September academy and more volunteers are needed. To get an application, anyone who is interested has to go through an orientation. Those are scheduled on the first Thursday of each month until June at 7 p.m. at 50 Glacier Drive in Martinez.
