3 Freehold Residents Are Racing In 2022 Boston Marathon: Find Out Who

FREEHOLD, NJ — Thirty-thousand participants will cross the starting line April 18 at the 2022 Boston Marathon. Three of them are Freehold residents. For the first time since 2019, the Boston Marathon will take place on Patriots' Day — a Massachusetts holiday commemorating the opening battles of the American Revolutionary War. The day begins with military marchers at 6 a.m., with several waves of athletes beginning the race in Hopkinton throughout the morning.
