Press release from St. Louis Science Center:
April 14, 2022
Tonight at 10 pm, the bright star Vega will be visible just above the northeastern horizon. Vega is the brightest star in both the constellation of Lyra the Harp and the seasonal asterism of the Summer Triangle. As we move closer to summer, Vega will continue to rise earlier throughout the evening, and on the Summer Solstice (June 21st), it will appear directly overhead at midnight.
