Stevie must be out of the shelter by end of day Saturday, 4/16/22 PLEASE SAVE MY LIFE‼️ I'M SET TO BE EUTHANIZED IN SHELTER 4/15 or sooner. Adopter/Foster needed ASAP! Please read entire post and fill out form below if interested in me: Hi, I'm Stevie🐾. I am set to be euthanized April 15th, 8 am. Why am I E-listed? Simply put, STRESS!! I haven’t been at the shelter very long, and I am already struggling from being in a kennel with limited opportunities for walks and play time! Because I am so frustrated, I’m barking and pacing frequently, and I have caused wounds to both sides of my mouth from biting my lips and rubbing them against the kennel gate. It’s just not humane to keep me here. Who can save my life? I'm a 2-year-old, neutered, black and chocolate American Pit Bull Terrier (76.5 lbs.). I was wandering homeless in a park when a nice man called to me, and I came right up. It was so nice to see a friendly face. He kept me for a week before bringing me to the shelter. He said I liked dogs and people. I was a good boy during my intake! I remained calm and allowed all handling and vaccinations with no issues. Sadly, I have been out only twice since arriving at the shelter, so there aren’t a lot of notes on me, just my initial assessment information. It said that I was barking when approached to take out and that it took a few times to leash me up. I spun and jumped at first and got overly excited and pulled towards dogs in proximity. However, once in the play yard, I liked to explore; and after some time, I came to staff and wanted to be petted. I am injuring myself and need out ASAP. I need a home where I can de-stress, get exercise and play time, and have a predictable routine. It is recommended that I have an experienced adopter, that I meet the entire family, that children in the home be older, and that I be an only dog at this time. I’m currently being treated for and recovering from a “doggie cold”. I can't imagine this is how it could end for me...Will you come meet me before it is too late?
