I’m quite creative, although not very artistic. So if you provide some artistry, I can provide the space and tools to create. I’m super laid back and not uptight or possessive about much of anything. This is just a fun outlet for me that I’d like to share with someone as a maker companion. I’m not limiting this offer to females only, but would prefer it. I have a garage shop in town (Fairbanks) with most wood working tools, a fair amount of small and medium sized power tools, basic mechanics tools, plenty of electronics tools and a modest sewing setup. Nothing I have is ‘production’ quality or scale, just pretty decent for making fun stuff in my spare time. One of my more recent tools is a Glowforge, which has been a lot of fun to learn how to use. Tools I don’t have (yet) – a welder. It’s on my list, although I’ve never used one, and I would like to learn at some point. So I have no idea what would be good to buy, but I’m open to getting one if someone has knowledge and experience about it. I also don’t have a lot of metal working tools yet, but I am slowing collecting those as well. Again, I’m not looking for someone who wants to make a career out of this. I’m a long-time local business professional who has no interest in quitting my day job. :) But I like to wrench, cut, stain, and spray paint stuff on the weekends & evenings, and occasionally take on bigger projects such as vehicle customizations or large art pieces, just for fun. BTW, I’m not offering to teach anything. I’m a novice when it comes to woodworking and the use of most other tools, except electronics, which I’m pretty good at, and I'm an ok mechanic when I need to be.
