Campus Connection Property Management has an immediate full-time opening for an experienced Lawn Care / Yard Maintenance Technician Level II. Campus Connection is a rapidly expanding property management firm dedicated to better management practices and service for our tenants and owners. The candidate must have excellent customer service skills, be self-motivated and efficient. GENERAL JOB DUTIES WILL INCLUDE: - General yard care and garden maintenance - Scheduling monthly jobs and periodic maintenance - Minor tree trimming - Cleaning up litter & debris - Loading and hauling debris - Digging - Responding to emergencies - Maintaining best safety practices - Ensuring that vehicles or trucks are stocked with necessary equipment - Cleaning vehicles as directed - Storing and locking all equipment at the end of each shift - Assisting with other property maintenance tasks during down time APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO - Work both independently and as a member of a team effectively - Take direction from a supervisor - Maintain a professional attitude and demeanor at all times - particularly when interacting with tenants, neighbors and property owners. - Utilize best judgment in respecting neighbors and property surrounding job sites. - Take initiative and anticipate problems - Demonstrate ethical behavior and integrity at all times - Demonstrate professional appearance and good hygiene at all times - Climb ladders - Routinely carry items weighing 50-90lbs - Operate hand and power tools - Drive safely and courteously at all times. - Demonstrate strong organization in the scheduling and prioritization of jobs We require applicants to have a smart-phone and valid driver's license. Ability to drive a manual transmission a plus. Applicants must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and be able to pass a criminal background investigation. Exceptional candidates might have a background within the property maintenance industry, be able to perform minor carpentry tasks (such as fixing fences) and assist our team with interior paint jobs.
