I represent Sylvia Rose Novak. We are currently looking for new members and building a new lineup around the band’s most recent singles, which will not release until June. Current music is linked below. What we are looking for in a guitarist: Ability to perform the recorded parts with the same sound and feel. We will expand on this in future recording sessions. Reliable, relevant gear. Touring and studio experience. Vocal requirements: Must be able to sing the parts and blend with Sylvia as she records her own harmonies. *This band is a safe space for all and all are encouraged to reach out for an audition. Recording breakdown: Sylvia writes all the songs. Arrangements are a collaborative effort in rehearsals where she gets final say. Final arrangements are done in studio where our engineer gets final say and Sylvia gets final final say.  Live show breakdown: Performances range from 45 - 90 minutes (plus encore, if warranted). Currently, the schedule is one week per month, 3-5 consecutive shows. An example is Wednesday-Saturday with “bus call” on Tuesday if necessary and Sunday for the return trip. We travel with a trailer, so road cases of some kind are a must.  Pay is on a sliding scale since the pandemic. The band does not come out of pocket for travel expenses other than food.  Currently, we have shows through June covered.
