Why do people not stand up for themselve? Americans are being lied to and stolen from every side every day. Here is one example of me standing up and not taking the crap. I had made a deal with my boss and sold him a 22 rifle for $100. He wrote me a check for $100. From Chase Bank. I know that Chase Bank has an illegitimate policy of charging non customers $5.00 to cash a check drawn from their bank. I walked in the Chase bank door with this knowledge a great attitude and a smile on my face. I told the teller I wanted to cash a check handed it to her with my driver license smiling She then told me about the $5.00 charge, I told her I had no problem with the bank policy but instead of cashing the check I would need it back. She looked puzzled and asked why I wanted the check back. I told her I made a deal with my boss for $100. Not $95.00 and if the bank refused to honor the $100. Check for $100. Then I would no longer honor the deal with my boss and give him his bad check back and get my 22 rifle back with no hard feelings no harm done. I was still smiling being very respectful and she was becoming upset and said WELL we will wave the charge this time and cashed my check for $100. I told her she will honor any check I bring in for its face value told her to have a great day and walked out. Yes I could have just deposited the check in my bank and had no problem but why? We should always stand for what is right with respect and we can only do this with knowledge and determination. Thanks for your support. In other words don't be a libtard. VOODOO
