Busy full service auto repair shop looking for a part/ full time mechanic/ assistant. Must be knowledgeable about different types of tools, their uses, able to sort, put away, organize, etc. Mechanic experience preferred, but willing to train the right individual. Basic customer service skills are a must, as well as an individual who is comfortable using a computer. Must be trustworthy, thorough, a self starter, who can think for themselves, and has at least a basic amount of common sense. Must be willing to ask questions/ for help if needed. Must be punctual, hours can vary, pay varies based on level of experience. Skills like being able to utilize a scanner, ohm a wire, read a wiring diagram, and operate an A/C machine are ideal. Must be over the age of 18 and possess a valid drivers license. Our ideal worker is someone with enough mechanic experience that they can be assigned specific jobs, complete them quickly, and move on to the next one. Someone easily distracted and flustered (or angered) need not apply.
