When a movie, tv show or commercial is filmed at my house (and there have been several) they pay a significant location fee...as much as $10,000 per day, and they pay upfront. I'm willing to pay 25% of the first day's location fee to anyone who brings me the gig. Here's an added incentive. If they're going to be filming longer than a few days I'm willing to pay significantly more, above and beyond the first day's fee. Be the referral and you've earned your money. You get paid (cash or whatever form of payment you want) the same day I get paid...upfront and before they start filming.
