OSU Seed Laboratory is hiring one full time, Biological Sciences Research Technician 1. Hourly range is $15.21-$20.12, eligible for overtime. This Biological Sciences Research Technician 1 aids and supports the testing units in the Seed Laboratory in the Department of Crop and Soil Science at Oregon State University. It serves as a member of a team of other technicians, seed analysts, students and temporary workers who work to accurately complete seed tests for customers in an efficient and timely manner. The technician is responsible for sample preparation, record maintenance, preparing re-test requests, and weighing samples. Assists with sample storage, equipment maintenance and calibration, and assists with hiring and scheduling student employees.
