This is a last ditch effort to save this girl. We rescued Luna from a HORRIBLE situation in Texas. She is absolutely amazing. Great with older kids (8+), cats, dogs (male and female), LOVES cuddles, stuffy toys, squeaky toys, balls, chew toys, toys generally, and laying across her favorite humans. She is spayed, microchipped, UTD on vaccines, and dewormed. She does get food anxiety when other dogs are around - this means she’ll gobble anything in sight (including things on counters). This is probably a reaction to her previous situation. If she’s an only dog, she’s chill about food and does NOT counter surf. She was initially raised outdoors and does not cue to go outside - but as long as he gets out every few hours during the day, there won’t be any accidents. She’s fine inside her crate and doesn’t mess there, either. Unfortunately, she bit our baby the other day and drew blood and is currently in isolation for the next 7 days per animal control. I spoke with a family member who is a dog behavioralist, trainer, and HUGE pitbull advocate: unfortunately, our only options are euthanasia or finding her a home with older kids or no kids. No adoption fee - she just needs a good family or individual to love.
