Crew Leader: Hungry Goats Lawn Care www.hungrygoatslawncare.com A growing, fast-paced full service lawn, landscape maintenance company seeks a full-time Lawn Care Crew Leader. The preferred candidate is an energetic, highly motivated individual with experience in the lawn and landscape industry. We are not seeking a clock in and clock out candidate, we are seeking an individual to be part of the Hungry Goats leadership team. Position Type: Full Time-Salary – Non-Exemptions Location: Corpus Christi Schedule: Monday -Friday, 8am -5pm, additional/flexible hours as required including some (Saturdays for rain outs) (Saturday and Sunday closed) Basic Position Responsibilities As an Hungry Goats Crew Leader, you will report directly to The Director of Lawn Care. You will have direct communication on the daily schedule and objectives. Essential Duties: *Effectively manage crew members to efficiently complete daily mowing route *Operate lawn maintenance equipment including, but not limited to, edger, string trimmer, mower, and backpack blower *Enforcement of company safety program *Safely transport crew and equipment from site to site *Mentor and train crew members while adhering to company standards *Manage crew equipment to ensure proper maintenance schedule *Perform effective time management and tracking *Complete paperwork and mobile applications as required **Promptly and respectfully communicate with customers to address their concerns, feedback and/or questions *Adhere to schedules and routes per management direction Other Duties: Assist landscape division as needed Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred Work Experience: 1-2 years of experience in residential and commercial lawncare or related is strongly preferred Ability to operate a Walker behind and Stand on lawn mower *Onsite field ability test will be required Knowledge/Skills/Licensing: **Must be able to pass a clean background **Valid driver’s license required with clean driving record *Reliable transportation required *Proficient in operating lawn, landscape equipment *Must be able to maneuver 12x6ft trailer *Strong leadership abilities, sound decision making ability and proficiency with all types of lawn care equipment *Ability to operate mobile and route GPS Detail oriented *Strong work ethic *Forward thinking mentality *Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., perform repetitive labor and work in inclement weather
