Hello, My name is Mike. I'm an experienced mature 62 year old guitarist / singer / songwriter from the Scotch Plains / Fanwood area and I'm currently looking for a band to play out with on weekends and the occasional weeknight. I can play rhythm and some lead guitar (depending on the song) and can sing both lead and background harmony vocals (depending on the song and the key). I've been playing semi-professionally off and on since the 80s. My most recent band performed a wide variety of music including classic rock (70s and 80s mostly), some blues, some R&B, and some songs that are popular today. I'm also familiar with some modern country songs and songs the 50s and 60s as well. I play both electric and acoustic guitar and have many guitars in my collection and several amps. I have my own mic, mic stand, and PA equipment. I am fully covid vaccinated and have received the covid booster.
