Two cats to good home

I don’t know much about these cats - we live in an apartment building and one of the neighbors left them behind when they moved out. They seem to be extremely attached to each other but really afraid of people. I have no idea how long they were alone for. I think they are both girls. I have no way of knowing their vet records or if they are fixed. The landlord wanted to just put them outside when he found them but our building borders i90 and I thought that was messed up so I took them but they’ve just been holed up inside my entertainment stand for weeks now and they growl and hiss when any people come near. They need a rescue I think. One is black and white and one is orange and white. Please let me know if you can help.
