Looking for an experienced diesel mechanic to work on a variety of commercial diesel trucks. We have a full service diesel repair shop located in Fontana, CA and we offer all engine repairs and maintenance services; therefore, you must have knowledge and technical ability to diagnose and repair commercial diesel trucks, as well as tractor trailers. Qualifications needed: • ASE certification and/or completion of technical school for diesel mechanic • Knowledge of diesel engine components, electrical, and operational systems • Knowledge of maintenance tools and repair equipment • Proficiency in the use of diesel engine diagnostic software • Problem-solving skills • Keen attention to detail • Excellent collaboration and communication skills • Excellent interpersonal skills. • Class A Driver’s License (Desired) • Bilingual a plus Education and Experience: • Five (5)+ years of commercial diesel truck repair experience • One (1)+ year of supervisory experience (desired) Physical Demand: • Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. • Ability to operate a computer and diagnostic equipment • Able to sit, stand, kneel, bend over, crouch, walk, lift, and reach for a full day
