Hobbyist seeks tolerant bandmates with interest in odd but enjoyable music. I am not trans anything but I do enjoy confronting gender stereotypes with mismatched outfits. I like rock and modern music with good hooks but tricky rhythms (polymeter, time changes) but also can lay into some boneheaded punk or postpunk grooves. What if Fugazi took hallucinogens? Or Tame Impala had to rehearse with the Beastie Boys? What if St Vincent made noise records for Ipecac? What if that was all on a mixtape you found in the gutter outside your friend's bar where he skims the register to get back at his drunk boss? This is not a shit post. I'm serious. I'm too jaded to think my work would become profitable but too stubborn to grow up and admit these creative pursuits are futile. People keep popping out kids and their ears will all need opening. Let's make q-tips and spread them from here to El Segundo. Come with me into the void, or lead me where you're already headed. Let's just swap files or get together and start recording until we've amassed a dense pile of Chernobyl diaries to stitch together.
